During this stressful time of preparing for exams, me and my friends usually take a break just to relieve some of that stress. If you have never seen the video on youtube "Charlie bit me" you must go see it. It's hilarious. But I like to think my rendition is better. LOL This is a remake of charlie bit my finger.

Rave Party!!!

So who's going???!! I know I'll be there.. The Davis Rave Party will be on Monday, November 14th, from 11:55-12:10 a.m. I've never experienced one of these before and I am very much looking forward to it. Spending 15 minutes of my day dancing, taking a load of stress off for just a small amount of time sounds great to me. I CAN'T WAIT!! But I do hope nothing drastic happens. Past years have been safe and controllable so lets hope this year is too!

Prayers for Lillian

As you all may know, our fellow freshman Lillian Chason is on life support at UNC Hospitals from complications with the H1N1 virus. She has been undergoing treatment since Nov. 20, and I can honestly say, she is a true fighter. There is currently a facebook group titled "Prayers for Lillian" with over 3,000 members supporting our fellow tarheels battle. I'm sending prayers out to her family and her for a speedy recovery. Continue to pray and stay hopeful. Like her mother Cate said, "There's a change for the better that is profound, yet difficult to explain."

Christmas on the way to the Hill

As you all know, Christmas is right around the corner! Exciting right?!!! Thanksgiving break was amazing, but all good things must come to an end... (unfortunately). I loved being with my family, but I know I will get to see them in 3 more weeks. It's sometimes tough when you're a freshman and you have to be away from your family (for some, it's the first time being away from mommy and daddy.. :D)

UNC Field Hockey National Champions!!!

WOW. just wow. I guess the title pretty much speaks for itself. UNC defeated Maryland to take the Grand prize to their more than proud UNC family. They are the National Champions!!

Heels vs. Wolfpack

Carolina football has been thriving these past few weeks...until yesterday. I'm sure you were all at home on Saturday watching the game. I SURE WAS! and I can't believe we lost by one point. Like really? Leading 24-14 at the half, and then they (you know who "they" are.) come back to win it???!!! Can you say, Speechless? yes. yes indeed. Come on Heels! Don't lose the momentum now after finally being ranked again!
