So last weekend I went to see the play Rent outdoors at Forest Theater which was put on by some of UNC's finest and most talented students. It was simply amazing. The acting was great and the singing was lovely. My friend and I enjoyed every minute of it! I have never seen the original play Rent but after watching them put it on, I would love to see it. The story line was great and just seeing their emotion and how they got into their character really appeals to the audience. I can definitely say my time was well spent when watching this play!

I would have loved to see Rent. I have only seen the movie but I really enjoyed it. I bet the UNC students put on a fabulous show. Hopefully I will get to see it on Broadway when I go to New York. Glad that you had a good time! -Taylor-
ReplyDeleteI'm so upset that I missed it! RENT is one of my favorite shows ever, and I've gotten to see a Broadway version of it, and I own the movie, just because I love it so much! I'm happy that our campus is taking on risque topics that the show brings up such as aids, homosexuality, and big business.. it definitely shows our diversity, don't you think?
