"Best Abortion Discussion Ever"
The abortion discussion that was recently held on the UNC campus cost approximately $9,675 with only about 138 people attending (much lower than expected). I've heard different opinions on this issue but I wanted to hear what you guys thought about these topics- the cost of this event and abortion in general.

I believe that the cost to have the discussion was a little too much, especially considering the state of the economy. It sounded like a good idea but with only 138 people attending it seems like a waste. Abortion is a very touchy subject with anyone. Personally, I believe that its different with every situation. If a girl decides to be stupid and get pregnant, then I don't think she should have the option of having an abortion. However, if a girl gets raped and becomes pregnant and if having a baby can be hazardous to their health, then I think she should have a choice. If having a baby wouldn't be hazardous to their health, then in that situation there is always the option to have the baby and put it up for adoption. This is why this topic is so confusing and controversial, there are different options and different loopholes to each viewpoint.
ReplyDeleteHoly crap all that money was spent just for 138 people to attend. UNC is supposed to be a school filled with business minded people and they hold a discussion that cost $9,675 this is a major problem when the school is "cutting back"
ReplyDeleteWho was in charge of publicizing this discussion? They should be fired because they clearly did not do their job if only 138 people attended when there are nearly 30,000 people on this campus.
