New Basketball Ticket policy

I can't really say that I completely like the new ticket policy because the first game I went to, I went by myself. YEA. alone. It was actually paretty boring. I understand that there is the stand-by line and turn it back but it's much more convenient to get a ticket emailed to you. But if the students really wanted to get a ticket, they can try one of those two options. A lot of the students are complaining saying that attendance is still low at the basketball games, and most students don't go because they have no one to go with. The phases may be different or they just may not get a ticket. Some students are too lazy to go at a certain time to the Union box office or stand in the stand-by line, however you gotta do whatcha gotta do for those tarheels. :)

    I don't like this policy. I found myself giving my tickets away because I couldn't go with one of my good friends. The game I went to wasn't that fun and I wish that they would bring back the policy from last year so that we could get two tickets instead of one. -Taylor-

    I agree with you. I have given all my tickets away because of that same reason. It's no fun going by yourself!!

    I have not gone by myself yet, but I do really hate the new policy as well! It just seems the tickets would be better used if we all got two tickets, I really think basketball attendance would be better because we would not be giving our tickets away AND bringing someone else.

    I dont hat the new policy too!! I have given away many of my tickets because I could find no one to go with me!
